![]() ![]() ![]() I especially could never get anything made in Tyranobuilder up and running, and until quite recently I assumed Tyranobuilder games were just never going to run for me at all in Linux. Speaking personally, I've had a lot of trouble getting Linux and WINE to play nice with certain types of games. I'm really only familiar with the Ubuntu and Mint versions of Linux, so if you use other distributions that are dissimilar and you aren't able to make heads or tails of these directions then I apologize in advance for my lack of breadth in these tips. What I thought I would do is write up a few tips that have been helpful for me in getting certain kinds of games to run using WINE and other software on Linux. Essentially I'm just a regular average everyday Linux user who migrated away from Windows slowly over the years and now enjoys using it as their daily OS of choice, who likes to keep things relatively simple and easy when possible. You might even call my knowledge level basic or amateur still. So, I'll just preface this by saying I'm by no means an expert at Linux anything.
